EFT for adults

“We are unconsciously programmed by our past experiences which shapes our thoughts, our emotions, and our behaviours.”

EFT a vast programme

A vast programme

Did you know that we have between 60000 to 70000 thoughts per day? That 90% of these thoughts are the same as the day before as they are coming from our past experiences?

How can we obtain a change in our lives if we have the same thoughts every day that trigger the same emotions and same behaviour?

At the age of 35, we have already subconsciously created a vast programme linked to our past experiences which shapes our reactions, our emotions, and our behaviours in the present at 95%. We are therefore the subconscious product of our past experiences, which explains that we live tirelessly the same experiences.

This is why changing is so difficult. Thanks to EFT, you will be able to disconnect this automatic response.

Crossing the river of changes

EFT through tapping allows emotions which have been blocked until now to free themselves and brings immediate relaxation, thus allowing the source of the problem to come up.

Imagine that you are pealing an onion (onion = the problem to be treated), each leaf (leaf = emotions/thoughts) that you remove brings you to another (feeling/thought) until reaching the heart of the onion (the source of the problem).

Through its double actions – the use of speech (conscious, neocortex) and tapping on the body (subconscious, emotional brain) -, you navigate between the conscious and the subconscious, which allows you to disconnect the subconscious programs and make real changes in your life.

EFT What will I win from this

I did some EFT sessions with Sophie for more than a year. She helped me understand where my emotions came from and how to make me feel better in my body in my everyday life. I was comfortable by her side to let go and to work on the blocking points in my life. She is very attentive and knows how to best guide me.

I recommend this practice with Sophie that will give all the energy necessary to support people towards a better self.

After a year, I feel better, and I’ve learnt a lot about myself. I will continue these sessions but more spaced out as I think it is a long-term process, to achieve the next objectives in my life.

I highly recommend Sophie and her approach to EFT. After many therapies and long moments on the couch, I was finally able to experience a way of working on my emotions that suited me.

EFT deals with profound, often buried, emotions through speech and the body. I was myself surprised by the discoveries I made about my history and the impact of my past, while I thought that I had already worked on it.

Thanks to Sophie and her approach to EFT, I genuinely felt deep changes and saw concrete and positive impacts on me and my surroundings.

I quickly trusted Sophie, her gentleness and her attentiveness allowed me to get to the bottom of certain topics, even the most sensitive ones.

I met Sophie in Shanghai thanks to word-of-mouth which for me guarantees reliability.

Sophie’s work went beyond my expectations.

I started with myself before trusting her with my child.

I am 41 years old, I went to psychotherapy in France during which I spoke, and the person in front of me would say a few words and a lot of “hum… hum…” while nodding their head, so there were few interactions, few exchanges and I sometimes left these appointments feeling worse than when I got there, with even more negative thoughts as I could not find the answer, no solution to my unhappiness.

With Sophie, there was a real exchange and afterwards, I had tools to put into practice when I was alone, and I never left the session without anything, I was armed.

Thanks to Sophie, I simply learnt to love myself, I became my own best friend and it’s am-a-zing!

It took me so many years to be kind with myself, but it’s never too late to be in harmony with oneself.

It’s an investment that is worth it!

Sophie really helped me progress on certain aspects of my personality that prevented me from moving forwards the way I wanted to. Reminiscing certain aspects of my life approached under the spectra of emotions allowed me to see more clearly and understand myself further. Additionally, Sophie is not only a competent therapist but also a woman who is humanly invested. In fact, she supported a few of our compatriots who don’t have resources by offering free sessions. The expatriates in Shanghai will miss her. Fortunately, she’s still available through videocall!
